The use of this website is subject to the following conditions

 
BULK PURCHASES:
We recommend trying out smaller size(s) before any bulk purchase if you are unfamiliar with these products as we cannot accept return of such goods.

CANCELLATION:
In compliance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, refunds are given if an order is cancelled within 7 days. Refunds will be provided within 30 days. However, the cost of the return of an order cancelled after dispatch will be borne by you.

Images and information on this website is owned by Her Afro-hair  and protected by copyright laws and may not be reproduced in whole or part without prior written permission.

CUSTOMER INFORMATION:
As per directives set out by card processing/charge back rules, customers are required to provide all information in full for order processing. We need a phone number for you, in case we need to contact you about your order. Failure to do so will result in a delay/non-process. Submission of incorrect information resulting in non-delivery will incur a re-delivery charge.

Your email address needs to be correct at the time of ordering. We only use such information to notify you of your order status.
Your shipping address is used to process your order for delivery whilst your billing address is used to process your payment by the payment processor.

CUSTOMER PROTECTION:
Her Afro-hair takes pride in customer confidentiality and will never pass nor discuss details with third parties. Please note however that courier services will need your contact details for delivery.

DAMAGES:
Please advise us within 24hours should you receive any damaged goods and we will endeavour to investigate. We will however need photographic evidence at the time of logging your complaint.

DELIVERY:
During COVID-19 we aim to dispatch all orders within 2-3 working days [excluding weekends].  In order to reduce our footprint, delivery will be carried out by SELECTED COURIERS and has to be acknowledged by the customer.
In the event of the customer being unavailable for delivery, the package(s) will be returned to the local depot for collection within 7 working days. A re-delivery after this period will incur a charge.
Additional charges may incur if the courier imposes on a returned package after attempted delivery to customer.

International customers should be aware that import duties/taxes may be issued by the governing body.
Please note that orders cannot be delivered to a P.O Box/BFPO address by our couriers.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
We accept International Orders and ship Worldwide. Please note that there might be additional fee charged by your card issuer/bank for international transactions and neither by Her Afro-hair nor our payment processors.
Kindly check with your Customs' office of any prohibited items before placing your order. Her Afro-hair cannot accept responsibility for packages being returned to us if the goods are restricted/prohibited in the country of delivery. Any charges incurred for returned packages will be borne by the customer.
All deliveries have to be signed for by the customer. In the event of the customer being unavailable for delivery, the package(s) will be returned to the local depot for collection within 7 working days. A re-delivery after this period will incur a charge. Additional charges may incur if the courier imposes on a returned package after attempted delivery to customer.
Please be aware that import duties/taxes may be issued by the governing body and delays might be due to customs' clearance. We cannot deliver to a P.O Box/BFPO address via courier services.


PATCH TESTING:
Our handmade and natural products are formulated to be gentle and moisturising. We however recommend a patch test.

PAYMENT:
Online orders can be paid for via our selected payment processors - Her Afro-hair does not have access to your financial details.

Anti fraud: Please note that your order may be declined after payment if the transaction has been flagged by our payment processor. A full refund will be issued. This could be due to one or all of the following reasons:

  • Incomplete information
  • Incorrect ValidFrom
  • Incorrect ExpDate
  • Incorrect CVV2
  • Incorrect billing address

Please note that we cannot accept cheque payments for our online orders.

PRICING:
All our prices are displayed in British Pounds (£ GBP). ALL CUSTOMERS WILL BE CHARGED THE ORDER VALUE SHOWN IN BRITISH POUNDS (£ GBP) unless a different currency is chosen and used to process your order. We reserve the right to make price changes without prior notice but will not increase the price of ordered goods which are awaiting delivery.

Our prices are subject to VAT charges within UK [VAT 117 1222 59] but there is NO MINIMUM ORDER. Shipments outside Great Britain and Northern Ireland are exempt from VAT.

PRIVACY STATEMENT:
We respect your privacy. Please read through our statement.

We are responsible for all the information you share with us to process your online order with Her Afro-hair.
We may share your personal information [name, address, contact number] with our delivery providers.
We might contact you via any means of communications [phone, email, text, social media] to discuss your order including feedback.
We never see any financial details of yours – this is processed via a third party [PayPal] as set out in our Terms and Conditions.
Your details are stored on our database to help us provide you any further service including a duplicated invoice or offer any reward points. You are responsible for updating your profile with any changes to ensure that your information is accurate and current. You are free at any time to delete your details.

PRODUCTS:
Her Afro-hair will not be held responsible for the misuse of our products. All ingredients used in a particular product are listed on our website and products. Please contact us if you are concerned about a particular ingredient/product prior to purchase.

RETURN OF GOODS:
Items can be returned if you are unhappy with your purchase. This should be returned to us within 14 working days of purchase by prior notice and via recorded delivery service in its original condition. We will advise you of receipt of your returned item after which refund of the purchase price will be issued. Items that have been opened or used will not be accepted for a refund. The cost of sending the goods back to us will be borne by you. This does not affect your statutory rights.


SHIPPING RATES:
Our shipping rates are automatically calculated depending on the weight and destination. Please note that deliveries to the Channel Islands are VAT exempt but incur a slightly higher price than to UK Mainland.
We appreciate that shipping outside UK might be cost prohibitive - this is outside our scope as rates are dictated by the delivery service. However, we do a partial refund in the event that we manage to send the order in a more cost-effective way.

We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions. Placing an order with us constitutes your acceptance of our terms and conditions.
